Fun Run 2018

Moorside High School’s first ever Fun Run will take place on Monday the 9th of July. We hope to raise enough money to fund a guide dog puppy for the blind.

Every child will take part and we have asked everyone including the 40 staff runners to raise as much sponsorship as they can. Some pupils have gone that extra mile and are already well over £100. All donations will be gratefully received at the school office. The pupil in each year group who raises the most money will visit the puppy at the training centre and be involved throughout the year.

It would be brilliant if parents/grandparents and locals could come out to support everyone and cheer us on. The route is published below. The runners will set off just after 9am in the following year order 7, 10, 8 and 9.

Pupils can wear fancy dress or Moorside PE kit. NO jeans, vest or strappy tops as there is a risk of sunburn. Pupils should bring plenty of water, sun cream and a hat as for once the weather promises to be hot.

The morning will end with a gunge the teacher event on the MUGA where staff will be covered in slime!

Thank you to everyone for your support.
