Year 9 Information

Head of Year 9 - Mr Kershaw

As Head of Year 9, I am looking forward to taking pupils through into their important GCSE years. I will be responsible for aiding pupils academically and pastorally in order for them to grow into the great young people I know that everyone in the year can be. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the year group and know the huge potential there is.

This will mean pupils looking at their progress in their core and option subjects and working on strengths and weaknesses. Successes will be celebrated and I am aiming to build up the resilience in the year group so that they can get straight up from any bumps they may encounter along the way.

The year group as a whole will have to work hard over the next three years to reach their massive potential, but there will be plenty of opportunities to wind down and enjoy themselves as a year group.

Myself and the team of Form Tutors are there to aid with anything that comes along the way and will help as quickly as possible.
