PGL Weekend

Year 7 PGL was an amazing experience for everyone; from giant swings to high ropes every part was as exciting as the next. Boreatton Park (PGL) was a great chance to bond with other forms and build relationships. The activity centre was located beneath the green and yellow fields of Shropshire, surrounded by cows and sheep. So it was the most perfect place to spend the weekend having fun and hiding from our parents. PGL 1

I enjoyed every activity but my favourite was … The Giant Swing! When it was my turn on the swing we were winched slowly up to the top and unfortunately my friend made me pull the cord. When we started swinging, our guts felt like they were going to pour out and it was a huge adrenaline rush as we plummeted down to earth!

On the last night of PGL, all the children from Moorside went to the disco. Everyone was dancing! We all crowded to watch a dance off between Mrs Goth and a Year 7 student. Everyone had so much fun and we didn’t want the weekend to end.

PGL was the best experience of my school life so far and I would love to do it again!
