From Monday, as previously communicated, Year 11 will only attend school for their exams and any last drop revision sessions.

On Thursday, 22^nd June 2023 all Year 11 are invited to their final leavers’ assembly. Students should arrive in school for 8:30am in full uniform. They may bring a spare shirt to be signed.

On 18^th July 2023 a number of students will be invited to attend Moorside High Schools rewards trip at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Attending the rewards trip is a privilege and only students that meet the criteria will be offered a place. This is a celebration of the hard work that students have put into school this year. 

As part of our careers programme, we are looking to reintroduce an opportunity for Year 10 students to gain experience in the world of work, via having a “work shadow day”. 

Firstly, I would like to congratulate the Year 11 students on how they have started the external examinations, we are really proud of how resilient they have been and how they have embraced the process. It is hard to believe we are already one week down, with one week to the half term break.

We are delighted to invite you as a parent/carer of a Year 10 student, to an optional Year 10 workshop around revision on Tuesday 23rd May 2023 at 5:00pm.
