  • KS4 Raising Standards Lead Update

    Year 11 are just coming to the end of the mock exams, and their behaviour has been exceptional. We are so proud of them as a year group for demonstrating their resilience, dedication, and aspiration during their mock exam period.

  • Year 9 Choices Information Evening

    As you are aware, at this stage of Year 9, it is time to consider students’ choices for KS4 and ultimately, those subjects they will achieve their first external qualifications in. We know these are big decisions and would like to reassure you that there will be a great deal of support on offer during the Year 9 Choices process.

  • Year 11 Mock Interviews

    As part of our ongoing Careers Programme in Year 11, we are inviting students to take part in a Mock Interview with a visitor from the world of work. The mock interview day will take place on Monday 29th January 2024. This is an INSET day for school, so students will be issued with an interview time so they can come into school, have their interview, and then go home. Students should expect to be in school for this event around 40-50 minutes maximum.

    It has been really pleasing to see over the past term, the increasing numbers of our Year 11 students who are now accessing the extensive intervention sessions that are available to them. As you are aware, we have breakfast workshops, after school revision classes and Saturday School. Alongside this, all students take part in extra English and maths retrieval and exam practice sessions during R time.

    The mock exams will be taking place after the Christmas break, running from Wednesday 10th January until Friday 26th January. All students have been given the mock exam timetable and a copy of this is also available on the school website.
