Information on the formal assessment for Component 1 which will take place between Monday 29^th January and Wednesday 27^th March.

As you are aware, at this stage of Year 9, it is time to consider students’ choices for KS4 and ultimately, those subjects they will achieve their first external qualifications in. We know these are big decisions and would like to reassure you that there will be a great deal of support on offer during the Year 9 Choices process.

To help support you and your child in making these important decisions, we would like to invite parents/carers to a Choices Information Evening on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at 5.30pm.

As part of our ongoing Careers Programme in Year 11, we are inviting students to take part in a Mock Interview with a visitor from the world of work. The mock interview day will take place on Monday 29th January 2024. This is an INSET day for school, so students will be issued with an interview time so they can come into school, have their interview, and then go home. Students should expect to be in school for this event around 40-50 minutes maximum.
